Since then, they have been&nbsp;rolling out energy citizens roadshows nationally. In 2022, they had 13 events across Ireland with over 1,000 participants, teaming up with ESB Networks, the SEAI, and local and regional authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>The event will take place on the&nbsp;<strong>4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;of May in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan&nbsp;<\/strong>from&nbsp;<strong>6.30pm to 8.30pm.&nbsp;<\/strong>The event is made up of two distinct sections:<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An exhibition space<\/strong>: At previous events, they have had a range of exhibitors including one-stop-shops, energy-upgrade suppliers, e-bike suppliers, local authorities, green energy loan suppliers, local development companies, public participation networks, the IFA, wind project developers, ESB Networks and SEAI among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Panel presentations:&nbsp;This consists of a panel made up of EirGrid, SEAI, ESB Networks and Meath County Council. Panelists each have 15 minutes to present information about their work. This is followed by questions and answers session from attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EirGrid generally presents the future electricity transmission grid needs in the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SEAI presents high level home energy upgrades, sustainable energy communities and business upgrades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ESB Networks presents their National Network Local Connections programme and microgeneration opportunities in particular.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meath County Council presents information on the potential local opportunities involved in the renewable energy transition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please find below an invitation from EirGrid, the state-owned operator and developer of the national electricity grid, to their energy citizen roadshow for Meath.
