Calling all young creatives, we need your help! This September Laytown Sustainable Energy Community are running a Design Our Logo competition for kids of all ages<\/strong>. Not only are you in with the chance to put your stamp on our local community group, but the winner and 2 runners up<\/strong> will receive a whopping gift voucher for Funtasia Theme Parks Drogheda<\/strong> to enjoy with your family & friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition Rules:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What is the competition?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To design a logo <\/strong>for Laytown Sustainable Energy Community (SEC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can enter?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The competition is open to all children (<18 years old)<\/strong>. The design must be original <\/strong>and the work of the person entering<\/strong> who by entering, certifies that the design does not infringe the rights of any third party and is not in violation of any copyright. Only one entry<\/strong> is allowed per person and all fields in the \u201cYour entry details\u201d section of the entry form must be completed<\/strong>. By submitting an entry, applicants accept all competition rules<\/strong> and agree to be bound by them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What should your logo look like<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your logo should be clear, snazzy and fit<\/strong> within the boundary of the box provided.  It should capture the mission <\/strong><\/a>of Laytown SEC which is to reduce energy costs & usage<\/strong> and create energy related jobs <\/strong>in Laytown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What format should your logo be in?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your logo can be in any suitable material<\/strong> (e.g. paint, pencils, acrylic, pen) or in digital format<\/strong> as a high-quality jpg or PDF<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do I need to complete a Laytown Home Energy Survey?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each entry must reference the address of a fully completed Laytown Home Energy Survey<\/a><\/strong> (i.e., with all 40 questions answered).  If you live in Laytown please get your parent or guardian to fill out survey for your home.  If you live outside of Laytown please get a friend or family member that lives in Laytown to complete our survey for their home.  Entries that do not reference a fully completed Laytown home energy survey cannot be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the prizes?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The overall winning design will receive a Fantasia Drogheda<\/a><\/strong> Super Splash tour pass or equivalent and the two runners up will receive a Fantasia Drogheda Family Splash tour pass or equivalent; prizes are not transferable or refundable.  A free energy audit <\/strong>also will be offered to the 3 homes that completed Laytown Home Energy Surveys which are referenced by the winning designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who will judge the competition?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The winning designs will be selected by the Laytown SEC committee<\/strong>, and their decision is final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How will the winning design be used?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The winning design will become the sole property of Laytown SEC for use as their official logo<\/strong> and will be adapted as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I submit my entry?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Good quality photos or scanned copies of your completed entries must be emailed<\/strong> to us at LaytownSEC@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When does the competition close?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
